Terrazzo interpretation in polymer clay

Terrazzo originated in 16th Century Italy as a way to reuse stone offcuts - sounds like ancient upcycling to me!

I have reinterpreted the technique here re-using grated chips of already baked polymer clay to add colour to plain polymer clay earrings. The teardrop earrings are 3cm long, the round earrings are 2.5cm diameter, the triangle earrings are 2.8cm long and 1.5cm wide, the heart shape earrings are 2.5cm at their widest and the puzzle earrings are 2cm long. They all have antique silver colour fish hooks.

The back of the earrings are plain coloured and textured.
