An Interpretation Of Agate
Agate is a common rock formation often found in volcanic areas, with chalcedony and quartz as its primary components and appears in a wide variety of colours. This is an interpretation of the stone in polymer clay.
Translucent polymer clay has pastels and silver leaf added and the random pattern is produced by manipulating and cutting the clay before it is cut into the finished shapes and heat cured. The pieces are then sealed with a resin finish which enhances the patterns.
