Are you a Lark?

This necklace reminds me of the sky on a misty dawn morning. The polymer clay beads are made using the Mokume Gane technique where thin layers of translucent clay are covered with gold leaf, then distorted and cut into thin slices. These are layered onto a teal colour polymer clay base. 

The beads are each 2.2cm long and 1.2cm wide.  The necklace has 11 beads linked with gold plated jump rings and finished with a gold plated chain at the back. The necklace is fastened with a magnetic clasp and is 46cm long.

The back of the beads are textured teal colour.
